Beginning of the study withing the DLS
After the published entry, DLS variant students are enrolling themselves in DLS and they are given their first subjects. All the necessary teaching materials are sent by the email, withing the DL package, which is given to all the DLS students.

Study dynamics
DLS variant students choses dynamics at his own, as well as learning time, which means that he is not obligated to attend to all the subjects at the same time. Subject consist of a certain number of teaching moduls, the opening and following of which is arbitrary for all the students. The finishing of the work from certain subjects is not connected to the other subjects from the same semester.
Student u varijanti Distance Learning sam bira dinamiku i vrijeme učenja, što znači da nije u obavezi da prati sve predmete istovremeno. Predmeti se sastoje iz određenog broja nastavnih modula, čije otvaranje i praćenje je vremenski proizvoljno od strane svakog studenta. Završetak rada iz pojedinih predmeta nije vezano za ostale predmete iz tog semestra.
The work of system through the year
DL platforma is active during the whole year and it is accessible to all the users, 365 days annualy, 24 hours a day.
Knowledge evaluating
It is predicted that DL variant students have knowledge evaluation after all passed teaching moduls. The form of evaluating depends on the form and nature of the subject, and it can consist of:
- modul test
- seminary work
- project
Students are obligated to make texts and projects after all the teaching moduls, by which he obtains the necessary condition to access to the next modul. This enables the continuity in the work of every student as well as the achievement of preknowledge for passing to the next teaching moduls.
Consultations
Besides the mentioned knowledge evaluations, every student is given the possibility to actively participate in the work, by:
- asking professor
- chat with professor and other colleagues
- diskusije with other student and colleagues on the FIT forum
- online consultations with professors
- proposing interesting web addresses and tutorials
All the mentioned activities are implemented within DLS, which makes easier the work and usage, and avoids the usage of additional software solutions. The mentioned activities are also additionally credited and evaluated in the final mark of a student who participate in that subject.
The consultations "on earth" are also predicted, one time per month in previously agreed terms, in which the students will have the possibility to consult their professor directly.
Enrolling in exams
Enrolling in exams in the DLS cariant are held "on the earth", which means in the FIT classrooms.
Evaluating
After all the teaching moduls within one subject are completed, a preliminary mark is established, according to the number of the won credits from that subject. Depending on the form of examining, the final mark can be bigger or smaller respect to the preliminary mark. The final mark is the summary of all impresions about a student's work within the DLS, the mark from projects and works, results on tests, participating in additional activities, the quality of thesis defence, as well as enrolling in the final exam.
Subject archiving
The subjects which are successfully passed and defended are being placed into the DLS archive, which is specific for every FIT student. The finished subjects are locked, students still can see it in the system, but he does not have the possibility to open and use again some elements, tests, projects etc.
